Après 23 ans d’absence, c’est avec pompe que le Goethe Institut rouvre ses portes à Kinshasa dans une ambiance électrique avec le concert de Jupiter Bokondji & Okwess International dans la soirée du vendredi 21 novembre 14 sous la grande halle de l’Institut français de Kinshasa, pleine à craquer. Le Goethe Institut ouvre présentement un bureau de liaison installé à l’Institut français de Kinshasa qui a pour finalité d’enseigner la langue allemande et promouvoir des échanges culturels entre l’Allemagne et la RD Congo. A l’occasion le Goethe Institut a lancé officiellement la plateforme Music In Africa qui est un portail web d’information et d’échange dédié au secteur de la musique africaine. Ce portail permet d’accéder et de partager des informations utiles, l’amélioration de connaissance dans secteur musical, de trouver et de se connecter avec des professionnels, et écouter de la musique africaine.
